About the role
The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting botanical surveys, managing plant collections, and contributing to research projects in the field of botany.
Responsibilities
- Conducting botanical surveys to document plant species and their habitats
- Maintaining and expanding plant collections for educational and research purposes
- Collaborating with researchers and other scientists to contribute to botany-related studies
- Assisting with the development and implementation of conservation strategies for threatened plant species
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Botany or related field
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in botany or related field
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
Qualifications
- Knowledge of plant taxonomy and ecology
- Experience with plant identification and documentation techniques
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
