About the role

The ideal candidate will have at least 2-5 years of insurance coverage experience representing policyholders or insurers, as well as litigation experience. Candidates must possess excellent analytical and writing skills, be familiar with first- and third-party insurance policies and the principles of insurance policy interpretation, demonstrate leadership and initiative, and be comfortable working directly with clients and colleagues. Applicants should have a strong academic record, be willing to work on pro bono matters, and be focused on client service.

Responsibilities

  • Represent policyholders or insurers in insurance coverage disputes
  • Assist clients with litigation involving insurance policies
  • Interpret insurance policies and provide legal advice
  • Work closely with clients to understand their needs and develop strategies
  • Prepare and present legal arguments in court
  • Collaborate with other lawyers and support staff

Requirements

  • At least 2-5 years of insurance coverage experience
  • Litigation experience

Pay

The expected salary range for this position is $235,000 to $365,000. Actual salary offers may vary based on a number of factors, including but not limited to, education, training, skill sets, licensure and certifications, practice area, experience, internal equity, and market data.

Schedule

Full-time, partnership-track position.
