Boston – Corporate Associate (Senior)

About the role

The ideal candidate will have experience with start-ups and emerging growth companies, as well as seed and venture capital financings, growth and private equity, and mergers & acquisitions. We are seeking motivated, team-oriented, and collaborative attorneys who are excited about working with clients in the start-up and venture capital ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Counseling early-stage entrepreneurs
• Representing companies and venture funds in venture financing rounds and M&A
• Engaging in investor-side financing in growth equity rounds
• Maintaining client relationships
• Handling multiple client matters concurrently
• Engaging in meaningful client contact from day one

Requirements

• JD 2019 - 2020
• Previous large law firm experience required
• Candidates must be admitted or eligible to waive in to the State Bar of Massachusetts
• Eagerness to work with emerging growth companies and funds
• Demonstrated experience in venture capital financings, growth and/or private equity, M&A transactions
• Excellent written and oral communication skills are highly valued

Salary Range

$390,000 - $420,000
