About the Role
The BOP/RENTAL Service Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day operational requirements of completions services, including shop safety compliance, coordination and supervision of rental job activities, scheduling of the BOP shop crew, job or project management, administration, technical support, and field equipment maintenance and management. This role requires BOP and rental equipment experience, technical oil field equipment knowledge, and detail-oriented skills to identify and correct discrepancies.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and schedule multiple service line field activities.
- Supervise shop activities of the rental division.
- Monitor daily progress of jobs or projects.
- Maintain consistent communication and liaison with customer representatives and operations management throughout projects.
- Reinforce Axis safety culture within the BOP/Rental Shop alongside HSE representatives.
- Provide technical guidance and work direction to shop foreman.
- Conduct regular audits on preventative maintenance initiatives for rental equipment.
- Identify and recommend process improvements to operations management to enhance service quality.
- Manage special projects as assigned.
- Conduct all business activities in accordance with Axis Energy Services policies, safety compliance requirements, and Axis Core Values.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3+ years of experience in well servicing, pressure control, pumping operations, or similar oil field services (e.g., frac, coil tubing, fishing).
- Ability and competency to operate high-pressure BOP/rental equipment as needed.
- Basic math, writing, computer, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to work with limited direct supervision.
- Mobility to use ladders or other access devices up to 15 ft.; ability to bend, stoop, twist, stand, squat, crawl, and walk.
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills; English preferred.
- Ability to work in a team and fast-paced environment.
- Valid, active state-issued driver’s license.
- Reliable telephone (cell phone) communication and transportation.
- Ability to meet Axis pre-employment eligibility requirements.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the United States, as required by law.
