Overview Of The Bookkeeper Role
- Perform month-end and year-end close activities
- Prepare accurate financial statements
- Maintain the general ledger for multiple entities
- Process and reconcile payroll, including payroll taxes and garnishments
- Manage employee benefits administration related to payroll
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns
- Process year-end W-2s and 1099s
- Auxiliary with HR-related administrative functions
Qualifications For The Bookkeeper
- 2+ years of bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting experience
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail
