Bookkeeper
Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for multiple clients - data entry, reconciliations, and reporting
- Process and manage payroll with accuracy and compliance across applicable laws
- Prepare and file sales tax returns; stay current on state and local regulations
- Maintain general ledgers, accounts receivable/payable, and month-end closings
- Generate P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports
- Proactively offer financial insights to clients, supporting their clarity and success
- Collaborate with the team on due dates and project movement
Qualifications
- 3+ years as a full-charge bookkeeper or equivalent
- Strong bookkeeping, payroll & sales tax compliance knowledge
- QuickBooks proficiency (ProAdvisor certification a plus)
- Experience serving small to mid-sized businesses
- Excellent communication & time management skills
- Independent learner who adapts to change
- Certified Bookkeeper (CB) designation is a plus
- Positive, humble spirit - loves serving clients & teammates
Pay
$45,000 - $45,000/year
