About the role
Responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting tasks including bank reconciliations and accounts payable/receivable processes.
- Prepare financial statements and reports for management review.
- Ensure accuracy and timely submission of tax filings and other regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the implementation and maintenance of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- CPA certification preferred but not required.
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks.
Qualifications
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration.
