Responsibilities
- Provide a consistently outstanding brand and customer experience through consistent preparation, attitude, and teamwork.
- Calculate time it takes to complete a specific job and verify appropriate parts are used and that labor recorded on R.O. corresponds with services rendered.
- Aid the Warranty Administrator with daily sales compliance review and self-compliance review.
- Review every warranty repair order for proper completion, accuracy, and legibility according to applicable policies and procedure manuals.
- Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPI) within green/yellow standards.
- Create and insert damage codes into warranty claims after booking to prepare claims for proper submission to warranty companies.
- Assist in reviewing warranty claims returned or rejected and prepare the repair order for resubmission.
- Contact appropriate warranty claims representatives regarding claims requiring special authorization.
- Provide warranty coverage and policy information to technicians, service advisors, and other dealership personnel.
- Provide cash estimates for labor to technicians and service advisors.
- Act as a liaison between technicians and service advisors.
- Look up relevant LI’s, DTB’s, and Campaigns documents related to repairs.
- Maintain a clean and safe work area.
- Able to commute into and out of Manhattan/New York City on a daily basis.
Qualifications
- A High School Diploma (GED) or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2 years’ experience in automotive service and experience in booking, warranty, or billing.
