Bone Density Technologist (DEXA)

About the role

We’re looking for a Bone Density Technologist to join their imaging team in Miami. This is a great opportunity for a technologist who enjoys DEXA, patient care, and a steady weekday schedule. You’ll primarily perform DEXA exams, work closely with radiologists, and be part of a team that values quality, accuracy, and an excellent patient experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform DEXA/Bone Density exams
• Verify patient information and orders
• Position and assist patients
• Operate DEXA equipment safely and accurately
• Maintain image quality and patient records
• Follow safety and clinical protocols
• Work with radiologists and the imaging team
• Provide occasional X-ray support when needed

Requirements

• Associate degree in Radiologic Technology
• Current ARRT certification
• Current Bone Density/DEXA certification
• Certifications must be active and in hand before starting
• DEXA experience preferred
• Hologic experience strongly preferred
• Mammography certification is a plus
• Strong patient care and communication skills
