Bonding Mill Helper - 2nd Shift

Reporting to the Production Supervisor, the Bonding Mill Helper assists a Bonding Mill Operator in meeting the department’s goals by performing machine set-up, maintaining quality standards, meeting daily production targets, and troubleshooting equipment when required.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for coil handling which involves removing coils from skids, loading coils to the payoff, and measuring gauge and width of the material with measuring devices.
• Assist with the set-up of a designated Bonding Mill following process sheets, setting machine parameters, and using lubrication.
• Assist with machine adjustments and set-ups to reduce thicknesses, reshape products, and eliminate product defects.
• Assist with the examining, inspecting, and measuring of raw materials and finished products to verify conformance to specifications.
• Assist with controls and observe dial indicators in order to monitor, adjust and regulate speeds of machine mechanisms.

Requirements

• High School or GED required.
• At least 1 year of previous manufacturing experience required.
• Experience in a metals industrial setting preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret reports, manuals, and technical procedures.

Pay

22.10 - 31.75 USD Hourly. The hourly pay range listed is a guide for this position and may vary depending on experience, education, geographic location, and other qualifications. The final offer will be determined based on the candidate's individual merits and the company's compensation policies.
