Responsibilities
- Install, service, and repair gas boilers and associated heating systems in residential properties
- Conduct thorough assessments and diagnostics of gas systems to identify and resolve issues
- Ensure that all installations comply with safety regulations and manufacturer guidelines
- Communicate with clients to explain services, provide estimates, and address any concerns
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used in installations and repairs
- Stay updated on the latest industry practices, technologies, and safety codes related to gas appliances
- Collaborate with other team members to provide comprehensive heating solutions for customers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a gas boiler installer or technician
- Valid gas technician certification and relevant licenses
- Strong knowledge of gas heating systems and safety regulations
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Able to work independently and manage multiple projects effectively
- Strong communication skills to engage with clients and provide clear information
- Physical capability to handle installation and repair tasks, including lifting heavy equipment
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certification in gas technology is a plus
