Boeing Summer 2027 Internship Program (Paid) - Security & Fire Operation (S&FO)
About the role
Boeing is seeking motivated, enthusiastic, and innovative students to join our 2027 Security & Fire Operations (S&FO) intern program. This is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across corporate site security, aviation security, emergency preparedness, business resilience, and fire protection engineering. As an intern, you will contribute to real-world projects while supporting daily operations in risk assessments, monitoring access control and camera systems, airport/airfield security protocols, and compliance documentation.
You will work cross-functionally with facilities, operations, legal, and emergency response teams to see how layered protection strategies come together to keep people and operations safe. Responsibilities include designing and testing emergency exercises and business continuity playbooks, analyzing vulnerabilities and mitigation options, assisting in industrial fire engineering assessments, translating technical findings into clear briefings for stakeholders, supporting aviation security audits and access-control improvements, and contributing to after-action reports that shape future resilience.
Ideal candidates are curious, detail-oriented, and driven by purpose—ready to learn complex systems, think creatively under pressure, and make a measurable impact on organizational safety and continuity.
