About the Role

Launch your career with Boeing's Summer 2027 Internship Program in Security & Fire Operations (S&FO). As an intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in corporate site security, aviation security, emergency preparedness, business resilience, and fire protection engineering. You'll contribute to real-world projects, support daily operations, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure organizational safety and continuity.

Responsibilities

  • Support risk assessments, access control, and camera system monitoring.
  • Assist with airport/airfield security protocols and compliance documentation.
  • Help design and test emergency exercises and business continuity playbooks.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and mitigation options.
  • Assist in industrial fire engineering assessments.
  • Translate technical findings into clear briefings for stakeholders.
  • Support aviation security audits and access-control improvements.
  • Contribute to after-action reports shaping future resilience.

Qualifications

  • Currently an enrolled student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or above).
  • Passion for the aerospace industry and enthusiasm for a career with Boeing.

Additional Information

Some positions are hybrid, requiring partial onsite work at listed locations. Others are virtual, not requiring proximity to a Boeing facility. Certain roles may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance or meet Export Control compliance, necessitating U.S. Citizenship or "US Person" status. Boeing is not willing to sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
