This internship is the foundation you need to jump-start your career, offering immersive opportunities to make decisions and develop skills as a Human Resources professional.

Throughout your internship, you will apply your education to meaningful projects while developing skills in Human Resources acumen, business acumen, problem-solving, execution, and a growth mindset. You’ll explore various HR careers at Boeing through mentorship, development opportunities, and exposure to multiple parts of the HR function. The Human Resources function at Boeing provides people-focused solutions and insights essential to running a global business.

Responsibilities

  • Experience Boeing’s products up close by touring state-of-the-art manufacturing and research facilities.
  • Work directly with a mentor in your field of study while finding solutions to real-world problems.
  • Interact directly with company leaders to discuss strategy and the future of Boeing.
  • Build a lasting professional network through social events and engaging activities.
  • Gain the skills and knowledge to become a future leader in the aerospace industry.

Locations

Internship opportunities are available in the following locations: Puget Sound, WA; Hazelwood, MO; Mesa, AZ; and North Charleston, SC. These positions are expected to be 100% onsite.

Requirements

  • Ability to work full-time for 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate student attending a college or university with an expected graduation date on or after August 2027.
  • Demonstrated interest in the Human Resources field via education (degree in Human Resources, Industrial & Labor Relations, Psychology, Business, Management, Analytics, Organizational Behavior, or Organizational Development) or relevant work experience.
  • Some positions may require the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is required.
  • Some positions must meet Export Control compliance requirements; therefore, a "US Person" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required ("US Person" includes US citizens, lawful permanent residents, refugees, or asylees).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Currently majoring in Human Resources, Industrial & Labor Relations, Psychology, Business, Management, Analytics, Organizational Behavior, Organizational Development, or a related field.
  • Strong academic performance (GPA of 3.0 or above).
  • Exceptional organizational and collaboration skills, as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and enthusiasm for Human Resources.

Pay

Summary pay range: $40,000 – $80,000 (based on candidate experience, qualifications, market, and business considerations).

Schedule

  • Duration: 10-12 weeks during Summer 2027.
  • Shift: First Shift.

  • Some positions offer relocation based on candidate eligibility.
