Roles & Responsibilities

• Auditing: Assist in developing strategic goals, ensuring financial health, approving the annual budget, and evaluating the Executive Director.
• Meetings & Committees: Attend 5 board meetings annually, participate in an annual Bay Area retreat, and serve on at least one standing committee or task force (e.g., Finance, Safety, Equity, Marketing, or Sustainability).
• Fundraising: Make OBCA a top personal charitable priority and activate your network to support our annual fund.
• Ambassadorship: Publicly champion OBCA, cultivate strategic connections, recruit new talent, and advise staff using your professional area of expertise.
