About the role

Clean Meat Alliance funds milestone-based research that reduces key production bottlenecks, accelerating the path to affordable cultivated meat. Our work includes:

• Funding direct research through breakthrough grants for scientists developing cultivated meat (e.g., new cell lines, production methods, species diversity).
• Funding high-impact organizations with proven track records in saving animal lives (e.g., in ovo sexing to prevent chick culling, plant-based breakthroughs, youth education).
• Building the movement through a volunteer network inside tech and finance companies, hosting events, creating video content, and running open science projects.

Responsibilities

• Support research initiatives that advance cultivated meat technology, including novel cell lines and production methods.
• Engage with high-impact organizations to deploy funds effectively for immediate animal welfare improvements.
• Expand the volunteer network, including liaisons in tech and finance, to host events and connect with new donors.
• Develop and manage projects such as mobile games, videos, newsletters, and policy outreach to build awareness and funding.
• Participate in community science projects and grassroots initiatives to drive long-term change.

Requirements

• Interest in animal welfare, cultivated meat, or related scientific and advocacy fields.
• Willingness to contribute skills in areas such as game design, video editing, research, or community organizing.
• For liaison roles: employment in tech or finance industries.
