Board Certified Behavior Analyst | BCBA | LBA | Adult day/ Residential
About the role
The Gloucester Program at Bancroft is seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within an ABA framework. The BCBA will manage Behavior Support Specialists, conduct direct clinical work, and supervise the development and implementation of behavior plans.
Responsibilities
- Directly assess and treat challenging behavior, and develop and implement behavior plans including functional behavior assessment/analysis, preference assessments, and treatment evaluations.
- Lead ongoing data review and analysis to ensure effective programming.
- Identify training needs and develop/train Behavior Support Specialists.
- Coordinate and lead clinical case review meetings to ensure proper data review and discussion of individual needs.
- Serve as a behavior analysis expert on the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
- Conduct and present research to both internal and external audiences.
- Supervise and train Behavior Support Specialists, implementing ABA techniques themselves but also training others.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field, with a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
- BCBA certification required.
- Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred.
- Prior management experience is also preferred.
Qualifications
- New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.
- Candidates with an active BCBA certification may be eligible to interview.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
