About the role

The Lakeside Program at Bancroft seeks a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to lead the assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, along with skill acquisition components of treatment within an ABA framework. The BCBA will manage Behavior Support Specialists (often LBAs in training), conduct direct clinical work, and supervise the development and implementation of behavior plans.

Responsibilities

  • Direct assessment and treatment of challenging behavior, and skill acquisition components of treatment within an ABA framework.
  • Manage Behavior Support Specialists (often LBAs in training).
  • Conduct and oversee team screening admission evaluations and intake assessments.
  • Coordinate and lead clinical case review meetings (rounds) to ensure proper data review and discussion of the needs of persons served.
  • Serve as a behavior analysis expert to the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT).
  • Conduct and present research to internal and external audiences.
  • Implement ABA themselves, and train and directly supervise ABA Specialists.

Requirements

  • Master’s degree with a concentration in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field, plus a minimum of two years of related experience with individuals with developmental disabilities, required.
  • BCBA certification required.
  • Prior experience in functional assessment and treatment development is highly preferred.
  • Prior management experience is also preferred.

Qualifications

  • New Jersey licensure in behavior analysis is required.

Pay

$80,340 - $94,666 (based on experience)
