About the role
The National WWII Museum is currently seeking a Board & Stakeholder Relations Intern. This internship provides a unique perspective into the Museum's current operations and strategic plans for educational and fundraising initiatives through involvement in the Museum's governance process.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation for important meetings, including reviewing committee reports and talking points
- Support the development of Committee and Board meeting materials, including agendas, reports, talking points, and PowerPoints
- Digitize and organize the Board's digital files
- Assist in the preparation of in-person meetings including but not limited to printing materials, setting out refreshments, and testing Zoom connections
- Support the day-to-day operations of the Board of Trustees, which could include tasks such as scheduling, data entry, research, and other administrative tasks that enhance the functioning of the Board
- Write and proof materials following institution-wide standards for communication consistency
Qualifications
- Recent university graduate or current student pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in museum studies, history, political science, education, business, communications, or a related field
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office365 and knowledge of office procedures
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills
- High level of interpersonal skills, customer service, and professionalism
Pay
This is a paid internship.
Schedule
Recommended commitment of 20 hours per week for 12 weeks.
