Responsibilities
- Schedule customer service appointments and obtain customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.
- Greet customers on the service drive in a timely, friendly manner.
- Actively listen to customers to define the reason for their visit.
- Accurately write up customer's vehicle concerns on repair orders.
- Utilize BMW’s Service & Warranty History tools to recommend additional services that are needed.
- Advise customers on the care of their cars, focusing on maintaining them according to BMW’s specifications and requirements.
- Provide a thorough and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
- Maintain frequent communication with customers regarding updates on the status of their vehicle.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Automotive service advisor experience.
- Ability to concentrate and accomplish tasks despite interruptions.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks simultaneously.
- Willingness to submit to a background check and drug screen.
