BloomPack hires Production Manager

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site position for a Production Manager at our White Top Testliner Coated paper mill located in Cairo, Egypt.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the full paper manufacturing process — from stock preparation to final surface coating.
• Execute daily production plans and ensure delivery of volume and quality targets.
• Lead production teams and monitor shift supervisors’ performance.
• Cook with the maintenance team to resolve issues and ensure preventive maintenance schedules.
• Monitor KPIs, identify causes of losses and downtime, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
• Support production trials related to new grades or formulation changes.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of experience in paper manufacturing, preferably with coated or testliner grades.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Experience with high-speed paper machines and coating stations (blade, curtain, or rod coater) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with QCS systems is considered an advantage.
