Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site position for a Production Manager at our White Top Testliner Coated paper mill located in Cairo, Egypt.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the full paper manufacturing process — from stock preparation to final surface coating.
- Execute daily production plans and ensure delivery of volume and quality targets.
- Lead production teams and monitor shift supervisors’ performance.
- Cook with the maintenance team to resolve issues and ensure preventive maintenance schedules.
- Monitor KPIs, identify causes of losses and downtime, and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Support production trials related to new grades or formulation changes.
Requirements
- Minimum 7 years of experience in paper manufacturing, preferably with coated or testliner grades.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Experience with high-speed paper machines and coating stations (blade, curtain, or rod coater) is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with QCS systems is considered an advantage.
