Production Manager Responsibilities

Oversee all production, maintenance, and quality assurance of the shop, ensuring policies and procedures are followed.

Develop processes that will maximize stewardship, safety, quality and productivity.

Cookordinate the plant's manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with company objectives, quality systems, and customer expectations.

Ensure employee development through training and delegation of responsibility; assist employees in career planning.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and EPA standards.

Production Manager Essential Job Functions

• Responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping
• Allocate resources effectively and fully utilize assets to produce optimal results
• Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintain current quality standards

Production Manager Skills

• Proven work experience in Management of metal fabrication industry
• Adequate knowledge of business and management principles (budget, strategic planning, resource allocation and human resources)
• Familiarity with industry standards and technical expertise
• Knowledge of safety, quality, productivity, demand creation, inventory and stewardship process
