Bloomberg Lab Assistant-Student Assistant Non Work-Study

About the role

On campus part-time employment for students who do not demonstrate financial need. Not part of the federal work study program. Typical positions for student assistants are office assistants, assistant technicians, lab assistants, aides to instructors/deans, athletic assistants, etc. Must be mature, responsible, organized and be able to pay attention to details.

Responsibilities

• Perform normal physical job functions within a standard office environment.
• Must meet the Satisfactory Academic Progress standards set by Dallas College.
• Must be enrolled and certified in at least a one-credit hour course.
• Must be a U.S. citizen or eligible noncitizen.
• Must not have any prior institutional balance or blocks.
• Complete required Dallas College professional development training hours.

• Some positions may be eligible to apply for a hybrid work arrangement after six months of employment based on job responsibilities, operational needs, supervisor approval, and Dallas College policy.
