About the role
The Chemistry Department at the University of North Texas is seeking a research assistant to work in the lab of Dr. Hao Yan. The position involves assisting with research in the field of physical chemistry alongside postdoctoral researchers and graduate research assistants.
Responsibilities
- Assist with research in the lab of Dr. Hao Yan in the field of physical chemistry alongside postdoctoral researchers and graduate research assistants.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry or related field from four-year college or university.
- Experience and knowledge in physical chemistry.
- Experience and training with lab safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Qualifications
- The preferred candidate will possess the following additional qualifications:
- Ability to perform essential job functions listed above.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
Skills
- Experience and knowledge in physical chemistry.
- Experience working in a lab in a research environment.
- Training with lab safety.
