Blood Bank Laboratory Technologist - Full-Time

Role: Clinical Lab Technologist in the blood bank team, responsible for performing routine and complex testing procedures, operating laboratory instrumentation, and ensuring quality patient care in a high-volume hospital setting. Key Responsibilities Assess specimen acceptability based on departmental criteriaPerform technical procedures following standard protocolsMonitor, operate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipmentMake technical decisions and resolve testing issuesPrepare, test, and evaluate reagents and controls; document quality control processes Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in chemical, biological, or clinical laboratory sciencesAt least 1 year of clinical lab testing experience or MLS degreeASCP or AMT certification preferredAbility to pass color blindness testProficiency with computers and laboratory information systemsStrong attention to detail, communication, and organizational skills Additional: Sign-on bonus available for external applicants.
