Laboratory Technologist - Full-Time

Role: Clinical Laboratory Technologist responsible for performing routine and complex laboratory procedures, operating and troubleshooting instrumentation, and ensuring specimen quality. Key Duties Evaluate specimen acceptability based on laboratory criteriaExecute technical procedures following departmental protocolsOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot lab instrumentationPerform preventive maintenance and quality controlReport accurate test results promptly to support patient care Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Chemical, Biological Science, or Clinical Laboratory ScienceAt least one year of clinical lab testing experience or MLS degreeFlorida Medical Technologist (MT) LicenseASCP or AMT certification preferredAbility to pass color blindness testFamiliarity with laboratory information systemsStrong communication and organizational skills
