Medical Laboratory Technologist - Full Time

Role Overview: Performs clinical laboratory testing under supervision, ensuring accuracy and compliance with protocols. Maintains equipment, records, and quality assurance activities while potentially supervising and training staff. Responsibilities: Ensures correct patient/specimen identification, documents QA investigations, reports lab data accurately within turnaround times, and interprets results considering clinical context. Supports performance improvement initiatives and inspection readiness.Maintains knowledge of policies, procedures, and regulatory standards, practicing cost-effective, high-quality testing. Participates in meetings, committees, and ongoing education. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology, Medical Science, or related field; master's preferred.Certifications such as MT(ASCP), MLS(ASCP), or equivalent required upon hire.Minimum one year of laboratory experience preferred.Proficiency in computer/data entry, communication skills, and basic computer knowledge; Epic and 3M experience preferred.
