Purpose
To install, maintain, troubleshoot and repair all assigned district hardware/software systems.
Essential Performance Responsibilities
- Assist district staff and students with installation, configuration and ongoing usability of hardware and software
- Offer daily operations and systems support to staff and students
- Verify functionality of hardware and software components
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in person, remotely and via phone
- Aid staff and students with hardware/software problems and answer their questions
- Track inventory and work progress in district helpdesk/asset management software

- Performs other related tasks as assigned.

Travel Requirements
- Travel to school district locations to repair hardware, install software and assist end users.

Qualifications Profile
- Any combination of education and experience providing the required skill and knowledge for successful performance would be qualifying.
- Typical qualifications would be equivalent to: High School diploma.
- Industry certifications preferred (CompTIA, Microsoft, HP, Dell, Cisco)
- Verified successful experience installing, configuring, and troubleshooting PC, laptop, and mobile hardware/software.
