Bistro Manager (Grand Blanc, MI)

About the role

The Bistro Manager assists in directing the overall operation of the Bistro, ensuring quality services and cleanliness, in collaboration with the Executive Chef.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Bistro's programs and activities.
• Prepare and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program while maximizing customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with food-related activities across other departments.
• Develop, maintain, and implement written Bistro policies and procedures.
• Perform administrative tasks such as completing necessary forms, reports, evaluations, studies, etc., to ensure control of equipment and supplies.
• Supervise Bistro personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and evaluating performance.

Requirements

• ServSafe Manager and Allergen Trained
• Starbucks Barista trained
• Good leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills with demonstrated ability to plan, develop, implement, and interpret program goals and objectives
• Knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff

Pay

Starting Wages $19.00 per hour with yearly wage increases.

Schedule

Full Time position with a Monday - Friday schedule, rotating weekends and holidays.
