Bistro Manager

About the role

The Bistro Manager collaborates with the Executive Chef to direct the Bistro's operations, ensuring quality services and cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Aid in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing Bistro programs and activities.
• Prepare and deliver an EPIC food and beverage service program, focusing on customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with other departments for food-related activities.
• Develop, maintain, and implement Bistro policies and procedures.
• Assist in performing administrative tasks like form completion, report preparation, and study interpretation.
• Supervise Bistro personnel, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

Requirements

• ServSafe Manager and Allergen Trained
• Starbucks Barista trained
• Good leadership skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to plan, develop, implement, and interpret program goals and objectives
• Knowledgeable of food service laws, regulations, and guidelines governing dietary functions in nursing care facilities and food service establishments
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills and strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, physicians, and staff

Pay

• $19.00 per hour starting wage
• Yearly wage increases

Schedule

• Full-time position
• Monday through Friday schedule with rotating weekends and holidays
