About the Role

We're looking for a fixed operations expert with Nissan experience. A service-oriented manager is preferred, but a parts manager with service background will also be considered. ADP experience is a plus.

Located in Bessemer, AL, within 30 minutes of 1.3 million people, Moore Nissan is the oldest Nissan dealership in the state and is dedicated to providing outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the service department and control expenses while growing the customer base.
• Set and reach sales and profit objectives while maintaining customer service excellence.
• Resolve service-related concerns for all customers and maintain high customer satisfaction.
• Oversee the warranty compliance process and uphold the highest ethical standards.
• Hire and supervise all service department personnel, monitoring their performance.
• Create goals and objectives for the department, including profit, expense, and customer satisfaction targets.
• Provide training on administrative policies and procedures for department personnel.
• Encourage technicians to keep their skills up-to-date through periodic technical training.
• Stay compliant with manufacturer warranty and policy procedures and serve as a liaison with factory representatives.
• Maintain the highest Customer Service Index (CSI) rating by handling complaints immediately.
• Ensure overall profitability of the department.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Service Manager; Nissan experience is a plus.
• Ability to motivate and lead a team to success.
• Strong communication skills with both customers and employees.
• Awareness and understanding of government regulations affecting the automotive service industry.
• Ability to analyze data to make informed decisions.
• High ethical standards.
• Must pass a background check.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Pay

Salary range: $60,000 - $85,000 (depending on departmental profitability).
