Biostatistician (Service Assistant Professor) - Department of Medical Oncology

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a liaison for multisite projects/grants/awards, communicating and troubleshooting with collaborator hospitals.
• Collaborate with investigators to develop objectives, design sampling, randomization, and statistical analysis plans.
• Design tables and statistical procedures for specific research studies.
• Auxiliary with writing statistical design, methods, and analysis for manuscripts and research proposals.
• Analyze data and prepare tables for interim and final reports.
• Prepare written reports of statistical analyses.
• Apply new statistical methodologies.
• Maintain data for research reporting requirements.
• Participate in staff training, professional development, and program seminars, conferences, and workshops.
• Aid the Chair of Medical Oncology with complex manuscripts and projects.

Requirements

• PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics or a related field.
• Proficiency in statistical software (Stata, SAS, R).
• Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Qualifications

An on-campus office is provided, with opportunities for hybrid work.
