About the Role
The Research Intelligence (RI) Statistics team at Northwell Health in collaboration with the Cancer Center is seeking a PhD-level biostatistician to join us as an Assistant Professor.
Responsibilities
- Lead the statistical design and analysis of investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored oncology trials
- Collaborate with physicians, translational scientists, and data scientists from concept development through publication
- Contribute to grant applications, manuscripts, and scientific presentations
- Join a growing, collaborative group supporting research across Northwell Health
Requirements
- PhD in Biostatistics or related field
- Experience with statistical design and analysis of oncology clinical trials
- Strong collaboration skills with physicians, translational scientists, and data scientists
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
Qualifications
- Passion for collaborating with investigators to design innovative oncology clinical trials
- Preference for early-stage (Phase I/II) studies
