Assistant Professor Biostatistics (Oncology Clinical Trials)
About the role
The Research Intelligence (RI) Statistics team at Northwell Health in collaboration with the Cancer Center is seeking a PhD-level biostatistician to join us as an Assistant Professor. We're looking for someone who is passionate about collaborating with investigators to design innovative oncology clinical trials, with preference for early-stage (Phase I/II) studies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the statistical design and analysis of investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored oncology trials
- Collaborate with physicians, translational scientists, and data scientists from concept development through publication
- Contribute to grant applications, manuscripts, and scientific presentations
- Join a growing, collaborative group supporting research across Northwell Health
Qualifications
We are seeking a PhD-level biostatistician with a strong background in statistical methods, particularly in the context of oncology clinical trials. Experience with early-stage (Phase I/II) studies is preferred. Candidates should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $150,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
