Biostatistician- Assistant Professor, Radiology

Job Responsibilities

• Work with the Radiology Research team on statistical analyses.
• Perform statistical analyses in a wide range of areas.
• Collaborate with research groups in clinical and basic science on study design, protocol development, statistical analysis, data interpretation, and manuscript preparation.

Required Qualifications

• PhD in biostatistics, statistics or related field, minimum of 3 years of post-graduate experience.
• Expert proficiency with the required job responsibilities.
• Proficient in at least three of R, SAS, SPSS, M-Plus or STATA.
• Skills in descriptive analysis, modeling of data, study design and graphic interfaces.
• Outstanding ability to communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects to ensure on-time delivery with meticulous quality.
• Ability to become well-versed with relevant medical and imaging concepts and terminology.

Skills

• Conduct statistical analyses for research manuscripts for publication.
• Conduct statistical power analyses for planning research projects.
• Advise PIs and research fellows on appropriate statistical methodology.
• Contribute to research design, methods, and results sections for research publications and grant applications.
