Manufacturing and Distribution Duties

• Performs tasks related to the manufacturing and distribution of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures.

Position Schedule

This is a full-time position that will work 800 PM - 430 PM Sunday - Thursday. Flexibility is required.

Training Schedule

Candidate must be available to attend training Monday through Friday 730am to 400pm for a period of 3-4 weeks (Based upon when hours are worked positions may include a shift and weekend differential of $1.50 - $4.50 per hour).

Essential Functions

• Manufactures, stores and distributes platelets and blood products
• Performs data entry associated with component production, labeling, storage and shipping ensuring accurate and complete manufacturing records
• Operates, maintains and performs quality control checks on equipment
• Ensures suitability and accurate labeling of products for release and distribution
• Performs the quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products and/or samples
• Ensures adequate inventory of required supplies
• Prepares and submits quality control samples for testing

• Basic computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
• Skill in operating office equipment
• Ability to report to work during a disaster, public health emergency or other catastrophic event

Physical Requirements

• Tasks may involve some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
