Essential Functions
- Performs tasks related to the distribution duties for the management of whole blood and blood components, in compliance with OneBlood standard operating procedures.
- May be required to perform duties related to other Biologics functions including manufacturing and transportation of blood, blood products and specimens.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is 600 AM - 230 PM Monday - Friday. Schedule flexibility to work weekends as needed is required.
Training Schedule
Candidate must be available to attend training Monday - Friday 800am to 430pm for a period of 2-3 weeks.
Essential Functions
- Ensures suitability and accurate labeling of products for release and distribution
- Performs data entry associated with component production, labeling, storage and shipping ensuring accurate and complete manufacturing records
- Makes, stores, and distributes blood and blood products
- Operates, maintains, and performs quality control checks on equipment
- Performs quarantine and disposition of unacceptable products and/or samples and performs quality control on blood products
- Ensures adequate inventory of required supplies
- Provides customer service to internal and external customers and vendors
- May operate a OneBlood courier vehicle when applicable.

- Tasks involve the performance of moderately physically demanding work for extended periods of time, involving standing, lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling of moderately heavy objects and materials (up to 50 pounds).
- Tasks that require moving objects of significant weight require the assistance of another person and/or use of proper techniques and moving equipment.
- Tasks may involve some climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
Environmental Requirements

- Functions are regularly performed inside and/or outside with potential for exposure to adverse conditions, such as inclement weather, atmospheric elements and pathogenic substances.
- Performance of this job could expose the employee to blood-borne pathogens and freezers at below-freezing temperatures (-30F/-35C).
- The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
