Basic Responsibilities
- Collects blood and fat samples to ensure bird clearance for processing.
- Prepares samples and ships them as needed.
- Delivers sample results to required personnel promptly.
- Contact laboratories to obtain sample results as necessary.
- Inputs information into USDA systems to comply with regulations.
- Maintains awareness of and adherence to safety regulations and rules.
- Manages live operations supply warehouse.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- College Degree preferred
Basic Qualifications
- At least 2 years experience in the poultry industry
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong math skills
