BINGO FLOOR CLERK (PT) | CAZ

Part-time position at Casino Arizona in the Bingo department, reporting to the Bingo Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities

• Assures guests the highest possible standard of service.
• Collects and verifies monetary bank; signing for it at the beginning of each shift.
• Verifies any Bingo paper and/or related merchandise; signing for it at the beginning of each shift.
• Accurately issues change and counts money to verify amounts; issues receipts for funds received.
• Inventories issued cash assets and compares totals on cash register with amount of currency on hand to verify balances, or compares sales of items with cash to ensure cash balances.
• Assists the Bingo Caller in verification of potential winning cards.
• Operates machines such as computer terminal, point of sale system, adding machine, calculators, and electronic Bingo equipment.
• Promotes guest relations.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Credit Card Compliance (PCI) requirements by attending annual training provided by Casino Arizona; signature verification of course attendance required.
• Follows PCI Compliance regulations to protect card holder data, including observing and reporting inappropriate card handling activity by customers or employees.
• Enforces all applicable regulations under the Code of Federal Regulations, Title 31, Chapter X, including observing and reporting suspicious activity by customers or employees.
• Maintains up-to-date knowledge of Title 31/Anti-Money Laundering regulations by attending annual training provided by Casino Arizona.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Cash/money handling work experience preferred.
• Basic PC skills required.
• Good basic math skills and cash handling experience.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills.
• Able to work collaboratively across departments and management levels.
• Upbeat, friendly personality with a well-groomed appearance.
• Willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Physical Demands

• Regularly required to stand for prolonged periods, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and talk or hear.
• Must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment

• May be exposed to secondary smoke.
• Noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
