Billing Specialist Senior

About the role

Billing Support Specialist at BioPlus Specialty Pharmacy is a key role within the company. This role is a hybrid position requiring in-office 1-2 days per week, with the rest of the work being done remotely. The role involves assembling and maintaining necessary documentation for billing purposes, coordinating account eligibility, and providing billing information to both internal and external contacts.

Responsibilities

• Maintains billing system database.
• Identifies, analyzes, and reconciles discrepancies in data.
• Posts to sub ledgers.
• Collaborates with Membership areas to coordinate account eligibility.
• Provides billing information to internal and external contacts; and first line collections.
• Communicates professionally and timely with internal and external customers.
• Handles more complex billing situations with minimal guidance and provides recommendations for decision-making.

Requirements

• Requires H.S. diploma or equivalent and minimum of 3 years billing and collections experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
• AS in accounting preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be available to work in-person 1-2 days per week, or willing to commute to an office location.
• Must be available to work in-person in the following locations: California and Illinois.

Pay

The salary range for this specific position is $22.26 to $29.08 per hour, based on a number of legitimate, non-discriminatory factors set by the Company. Monday - Friday, 9AM - 6PM or 10AM-7PM EST.
