About the Opportunity:The Billing Specialist is a key member of the Financial Operations team responsible for ensuring the accuracy and completeness of financial records. This role supports the organization’s financial health by reconciling accounts, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining compliance with accounting standards and internal policies. The position contributes to streamlined financial operations and supports accurate financial reporting.3. Responsibilities:Perform routine reconciliations of financial records, including bank statements, accounts payable and receivable, and general ledger accountsIdentify and resolve basic discrepancies in financial data, escalating complex issues as necessaryMaintain accurate financial transaction records and accompanying documentationAssist in preparing standard financial reports and summaries for internal useAdhere to internal controls and company policies to ensure compliance with accounting standards and audit requirementsCollaborate with finance and other departments to support day-to-day accounting operationsIdentify and implement opportunities for process automation to improve reconciliation efficiency4. Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience1–2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeepingFamiliarity with general accounting principles and basic financial reportingProficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with Great Plains is advantageousStrong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasksEffective written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance within finance and accounting5. Pay Range and Compensation Package:Base salary range: $61,920 to $64,000 USD annually, with eligibility for an annual bonusActual compensation depends on qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, business needs, and market demand6.
