Billing Coordinator III - REMOTE

About the role
The Billing Coordinator III ensures accurate and efficient billing operations for assigned clients. This role audits manifests, verifies expenses and revenue, processes invoices, and applies client-specific contract requirements. The position contributes directly to financial accuracy, contractual compliance, operational efficiency, and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Audit daily manifests by verifying notes and revenue.
- Review expenses scheduled for payment.
- Audit manifests using the Customer Weekly Report.
- Prepare and issue invoices for assigned clients on a daily or weekly basis.
- Understand and accurately apply client contracts and billing requirements.
- Maintain client contract files and supporting audit documentation.
- Keep client billing instructions and related documentation current.
- Provide backup support for other billing specialists as needed.
- Communicate with field operations to obtain clarification and resolve questions.
- Research and resolve billing discrepancies and other issues.
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and general computer applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks effectively.
- Flexibility to adjust working hours based on business needs.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
Pay
Hourly pay range: $22.00–$25.00 per hour.
Eligibility for annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plans depending on position level and plan type.
