Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, review, and process monthly and ad hoc client invoices
- Coordinate billing adjustments and special billing requests based on attorney and client requirements
- Manage accounts receivable activity and support collections efforts
- Submit invoices through e-billing platforms and resolve submission issues or rejections
- Research billing discrepancies and collaborate with attorneys and internal teams to ensure timely resolution
- Monitor client balances and billing activity to maintain accuracy and compliance with client guidelines
Qualifications
- Prior billing, accounts receivable, or accounting experience, preferably within a law firm or professional services environment
- Knowledge of invoice preparation, billing processes, and client billing guidelines
- Experience with electronic billing (e-billing) systems strongly preferred
- Proficiency with accounting, billing, or financial management software
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 plus bonus
Location: Midtown, NYC (Hybrid role, 2 days onsite and 3 days work from home)
