Billing Analyst

We are looking for a Billing Specialist to support billing operations for a business-focused organization in Boston, Massachusetts. This is a long term position with the opportunity to result in a permanent offer.If you have exposure with SaaS billing and can manage invoicing with precision, partner closely with internal teams, and help maintain strong revenue and customer account processes this is the role for you! The role requires someone who is detail oriented and can handle billing activities from invoice preparation through payment reconciliation while addressing account issues in a timely manner. Hybrid role with 3 days a week required on site; Boston, MA Responsibilities:• Oversee the full billing cycle for business customer accounts, ensuring invoices are issued accurately and on schedule• Coordinate order-related billing activities, including reviewing approvals and confirming invoice readiness before release• Perform account billing maintenance and reconcile transactions to support accurate financial records• Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies, payment questions, and account issues with a strong customer service mindset• Track outstanding invoices, follow up on overdue balances, and contribute to reducing aged accounts receivable• Work with cross-functional partners in revenue, finance, and customer-facing teams to support efficient billing operations• Process payments and maintain clear documentation of billing actions, account updates, and reconciliation results • At least 3 years of experience in billing or a closely related finance function • Hands-on experience working with SaaS-based billing platforms in a business-to-business environment • Knowledge of accounts receivable processes, invoice reconciliation, and payment tracking • Ability to identify billing issues, analyze account details, and resolve discrepancies accurately • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage deadlines and maintain attention to detail • Comfortable working in a hybrid schedule with 3 days onsite in Boston, Massachusetts • Effective communication skills for collaborating with internal stakeholders and supporting customer account needs Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
