Billing Analyst

About the role

Amerit Fleet Solutions is seeking a skilled Billing/AR Analyst to assist in expense accounting, prepare invoices, obtain billing approval, and calculate incoming fees due. The position involves ensuring billing issues are current and resolved, maintaining detailed transaction records, and processing credits and debits on incorrect billing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain journal entries regarding income, expenses, fund transfers, and other financial transactions.
• Create and send accurate and timely invoices.
• Correspond with clients to correct rejected invoices, including researching in their system and reviewing with client oversight managers.
• Research and resolve challenges, delete invoices, correct time/task codes, and approve invoice entries.
• Handle warranty credits, parts damage, and other specialized billing issues, researching, documenting, and approving releases.
• Communicate changes to clients and field groups.
• Process reimbursable expenses, reviewing for accuracy and reasonableness, and conducting periodic expense research.
• Address general invoicing and billing inquiries related to contracts, allowable employee titles and bill rates, and employee rate movements.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience in Billing/Accounts Receivable.
• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables with high volumes of data).
• Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, mathematics, or finance, or equivalent work experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Outstanding customer service skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft.
• Demonstrated ability to meet strict deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Organized and detail-oriented.

Qualifications

• Physical requirements: Ability to lift and move up to 10 pounds, stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear. Frequent use of hands and fingers. Ability to feel and reach with hands and arms.

Skills

• Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (v-lookups and pivot tables with high volumes of data).
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with accounting software, particularly PeopleSoft.

Pay

Competitive Salary Pay - Paid weekly, every Friday! Hourly range $25-$30/hr.
