Billing & Accounts Receivable Specialist

About The Opportunity

This role supports day-to-day billing and accounts receivable operations for a growing organization with steady transaction volume. The specialist will work closely with internal teams to ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and clean account reconciliation while helping improve cash flow and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue customer invoices accurately and on schedule
• Maintain accounts receivable aging and follow up on past-due balances
• Post payments, apply credits, and reconcile customer accounts
• Resolve billing discrepancies and respond to client inquiries professionally
• Maintain accurate records within accounting and ERP systems
• Aid with month-end close and reporting related to AR

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or related accounting functions
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy with financial data
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Clear written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in high-volume billing environments preferred
• Associate’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
