About the role

The Bartender is responsible for delivering extraordinary experiences to guests with positive, courteous, and professional service. This individual will prepare beverages per spec in a timely manner while understanding guest needs. The role requires an engaging attitude and a high level of professional, personalized guest service that embodies the Company’s brand standards and core values: Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity (K.E.E.P).

Responsibilities

• Consistently deliver positive, courteous, and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors, and fellow employees.
• Discover guest needs and suggest beverages to enhance their experience and meet sales goals.
• Take food orders for sit-down and to-go orders.
• Maintain mastery of the bar, ensuring proper preparation to promote a well-run shift.
• Maintain par levels of all stock and supplies, including garnishes, beer, wine, liquor, and barware.
• Keep an accurate count of all money and comps received for guests and follow cash handling policies.

Requirements

• 1 year of bartending experience.
• 1 year of food serving experience preferred.
• Record of delivering exceptional guest experience.
• Effective communication skills.
• Appropriate professional appearance and demeanor.
• Must be available for various shifts, including early mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and long hours.
• Team player with a "guest first" attitude.
• Minimum age of 21 years old.

Skills

• Basic math skills.
• Ability to speak and understand English.

Physical Demands

• Ability to move throughout the hotel (standing, walking, kneeling, and bending) for extended periods of time.
• Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
• Ability to express or exchange ideas verbally and perceive sound by ear.
• Ability to regularly move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 50 pounds.
• Constantly walking up to distances of 500 ft. during shift.
• Frequently stooping and reaching.

Work Environment

• Work performed indoors in a climate-controlled environment with occasional hot and cold temperature changes.
• Regular exposure to a smoke-filled environment.
• Work with others in close spaces.
• Moderate to high noise levels.
• Walk/stand on tile, mats, carpet, or cement.

Pay

USD $12.00 - USD $12.00 per hour (tipped position).
