About the role

The On-Site Contact Center Team at HAPO Community Credit Union is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled Bilingual Virtual Service Professional to join our dynamic team. This role requires strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, particularly in both English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Comfortably portray oneself using video software and hardware
• Develop positive relationships with members and coworkers by listening carefully and respectfully
• Structure, quote, and follow up on loan transactions from origination to close through all virtual channels
• Open and modify consumer accounts via video or web
• Absorb and assist members with account modifications
• Demonstrate essential skills related to the use of the credit union's computer systems and other related equipment
• Quote rates and open sub-shares
• Provide general IRA information and process IRA transactions
• Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
• Communicate effectively with customers, listen to their needs, and overcome objections

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED certificate required
• Fluency in English and Spanish (spoken and written) required
• Proven experience in a bilingual role preferred
• Strong interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills preferred
• Ability to translate and interpret with accuracy and cultural sensitivity preferred

Qualifications

• Must be able to work 35-40 hours a week between the hours of 8:30am – 6:00pm M-F with rotating Saturdays required
• Starting Pay Range (DOE): $23.42 - $35.12

$23.42 - $35.12 DOE
