Bilingual Veterinary Receptionist (Spanish/English)

About the role

We are seeking a Bilingual Clinic Receptionist (Client Service Associate) to join our Essential Care Veterinary Clinic. This role is crucial for managing client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to all emails, calls, and in-person inquiries
• Provide knowledgeable responses to client questions and concerns, ensuring accurate information is conveyed
• Schedule and review appointments for surgery and wellness clinics
• Data entry and input of client and patient information into our database with high attention to detail
• Transcribe and maintain accurate records of doctors' notes and treatment plans
• File patient records appropriately
• Process client payments, including cash, credit, and insurance transactions
• Stay updated with current grants and subsidies and assist clients needing financial assistance

Qualifications & Expectations

• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Enthusiasm for HSC's mission and community service
• Working knowledge of MS Office, database management software, and web software (preferred)
• Self-motivated, well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, including written and verbal communication
• Comfortable interacting with dogs and cats
