Bilingual Veterinary Assistant (Spanish/English)

About the role

We are seeking a Bilingual Clinic Receptionist (Client Service Associate) to join our Essential Care Veterinary Clinic. This role involves managing and responding to client inquiries, scheduling appointments, and providing quality customer service. Fluency in both Spanish and English is required, along with enthusiasm for our mission and ability to interact with pets.

Responsibilities

• Manage and respond to all emails, calls, and in-person inquiries
• Provide knowledgeable responses to client questions and concerns
• Schedule and review appointments for surgery and wellness clinics
• Data entry and input of client and patient information
• Transcribe and maintain accurate records of doctors' notes and treatment plans
• File patient records appropriately
• Process client payments, including cash, credit, and insurance transactions
• Stay updated with grants and subsidies and assist clients needing financial assistance

Qualifications & Expectations

• Fluency in both Spanish and English
• Enthusiasm for HSC's mission and community involvement
• Working knowledge of MS Office, database management software, and web software
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong interpersonal communication skills, including written and verbal communication
• Reliable mode of transportation
• Comfortable interacting with dogs and cats
